Training principles
All the courses that are devised by Dementia Works are based on a person focussed approach to care. The training will deploy a variety of training and learning methods which concentrate on staff exploring issues in working with people with dementia. Staff will have the opportunity to develop skills and practices which can be transferred back to the workplace. All training is based on an anti discriminatory and anti ageist approach.
