Losing Myself
'Losing Myself' Three Minute Wonders commissioned by Channel 4 and produced by Clarity Productions. There are four films in this series, here are two of them.
Both of these films show moving portraits of people with dementia.
Losing Myself: Annie
"Losing Myself: Annie" won the BAFTA Scotland Best Short Film Award 2007. The film shows Annie reflecting on her life and her memories. It depicts a fascinating woman who has worked hard and yet retains a strong sense of humour. Through the dementia we can still clearly the person and her active engagement in the life that she has now.
Losing Myself: Stewart
"Losing Myself: Stewart" is about Stewart who worked as an artist and had art exhibitions throughout the world. He is a talented and tender man and is shown expressing himself through his drawing. During the film he reflects quietly on his life both past and present.
